On January 13, 2023, Amalia DeAztlan, President of Democratic Women of the Desert, acting on behalf of Coachella Mayor Steven Hernandez, presented Charlie Ara with an award for his dedicated service to the Palm Desert Greens Democratic Club and the people of the Coachella Valley. Congratulations Charlie!
