Hello my name is Alexia Hernandez, and I am a resident of the Coachella Valley. I attended Coachella Valley High School, where I participated in the Young Women’s Empowerment Club as event manager as well as the Psychology Pathway, Planned Parenthood Youth Advocacy organization, and Health Academy. In order to earn my bachelor’s degree in psychology, I am now enrolled at Cal State University, San Bernardino. I’ve collaborated with Planned Parenthood, Partners Against Violence, YLI, and Alianza. I am incredibly appreciative of the chance l’ve been given to speak up for the youth and educate them about important issues, I’m prepared to stand up for our values and for social justice.
