DWD is excited to announce our newest board member, Ms. Anyse Smith . She has lived in the desert since 2013 when she became a resident at the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission. Ms. Smith graduated from California Desert Trial Academy Spring 2020. She has law clerked doing criminal defense with John Patrick Dolan the past several years. Anyse currently works at Coachella Valley Association of Governments in the newly established homelessness office. She also serves on The Other Bar, as a Board Member, the Jewish Family Services, Advisory Council, the Indio Mount Zion Church, as a Board Member and the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission, as a New Life Program Mentor. We look forward to working with her!
